Fall Greetings Artists!

Our Fall pot luck was a nice "fulfilling" event to start off Fall. Loads of delightful food and fun.

October will mainly consist of doing our own thing and getting our projects done for the Craft Fair at the School at the end of November.

We have worked on painting bags and painting and decorating Xmas balls that will sell at nominal prices.

Open to other suggestions for sure ...

We are having the Chamber of Commerce do up our 2023 Calendars in colour and would like members to advise approximately how many of you would like to buy for family and friends. This will give us an idea of how many to produce. We can always order more with the flexibility of the Chamber doing them.

Place-mats will be done up again most likely at Staples in the same format as last year.

This Friday, October 7, Rick Ellithorpe will be there at 1 PM to photograph your submissions for the Calendar (one) and Place-mats (two). They must be camera ready with no glass and in landscape form. Should the Thanksgiving weekend interfere with this plan for some of you, we can also do more the following week if needed.

October 30 will be an "out of Red Barn experience" ... We will look for an adventure or an outing. Open to suggestions or ideas. One idea would be painting with Adam in Salmon Arm again.

See you on Friday and Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Thank you for your service - National Volunteer Week April 24-30, 2022

Betty Hill is presented with a "Community Champion" certificate by Connie Pike (Brush & Palette Club) on behalf of the Mayor (Terry Rycz) and the District of Sicamous. Readings of letters from the mayor (Terry Rycz) and the president of Brush & Palette (Connie Pike) conveyed deep gratitude for Betty's valuable contributions and for "lifting us up"! and as Connie stated "Betty, you are our leader. You, Betty Hill are Our Champion"
